In Illinios, do you have to show your driving hours log at the DMV when you go to get your license?

I haven't been keeping record of my driving hours, but i have 4 months until i will be 16 and i want to get my license then! Do you have to show your hours to them like signed off by a parent, etc?|||Hello Mia,

Yes, you need to provide the log.

Illinois law requires that you have at least 50 hours of behind-the-wheel training, including 10 hours of nighttime driving, in addition to your driver education training, before you are eligible to obtain a driver鈥檚 license at age 16. A driving log to track your hours is available at www.cyberdriveillinois.com or in the Parent/Teen Driving Guide.

Hope this helps!|||no!|||Yes, you do.|||Yes you do. That is the reason for keeping a log.
