Do all 6 hours of behind the wheel training have to be done before you make a license appointment with the DMV?

My second behind the wheel training is on August 10th and my third behind the wheel training is on August 11th. Am I allowed to make an appointment with the CA DMV right now? I'm sure the appointment will be past August 11th. Thanks!|||You should be able to. Last time I checked you just needed to be able to provide proof of completing it when you actually take the exam.
