How many hours of driving training do you need before you can make an appt. with the DMV (In CA)?

I've taken 4 out of my 6 hours, and I'm taking 5 and 6 tomorrow. I'm wondering If I can call now to make an appt for like a week or so from now?|||If you are hoping to become a licensed driver, this is probably something you should know. You might just need the required hours to take the test (not necessarily to make the appointment). Either way, just call now to make your appointment, and you'll easily get your answer (and make the appointment if you can). Worst case scenario, they tell you no, and you make your appointment a few days later.|||You should have made your appt. weeks ago. Depending upon where you are in Calif., some DMV offices take nearly a month to secure an appt. Go online to the DMV website - www.dmv.ca.gov and click on appts. Be sure you have your permit in front of you.

You will need a Certificate of Completion from your Behind-the-Wheel instructor showing you completed 6 hours.
