I went to the DMV today. It took two hours to switch over my title. How long would McDonalds last if it took?

two hours to get a Cheeseburger and a mocha frappe?|||Don't laugh...If they ever go Union it will take that long plus cost 5 times what it does now and there would even be a fat tax that is collected and Direct Deposited in the Union General Fund...|||Not long, but that doesn't matter. You don't have to have a Big Mac, but you do have to switch over your title. When you don't have a choice customer service can be really crappy. It's even worse at free and reduced price clinics.





Yeah, you don't have that done at the DMV, but I knew it was a hypothetical question.|||I spent two hours at DMV yesterday to take my daughter to take her written test to get her permit.





A person I spoke to stated he had been there three hours.





McDonalds would raise their prices and hire more people. People do not want to pay more taxes they want cuts in services. The cuts in services gets you two to three hours waits.





I am not really sure of your point? Should taxes be raised or should DMV be put out of business.





Edit....making an appointment is a joke. you can make an appointment if you can wait a month to do what you need to do.|||If you're going to use the DMV as an exemplar of government, then can I use Lehman Brothers as an exemplar of corporations? Or what about Dow Chemical, which killed 8000 people in India as a result of its incompetence?





If you're going to compare the least successful arm of government with the most successful corporations, victory will be easy for you. But most of us are smart enough to see through that.|||In response to the users who accuse you of lying, here in Michigan vehicle titles are indeed handled by the Secretary of State, which is what the DMV is called here.





It might behoove people to realize that there are 50 states, every one of which does things a bit differently.|||they would be under in no time at all, and the funny thing about it is in my opinion the works at Micky Dees probably are more capable workers|||try calling first and you can make an appointment





I was on the phone for problems on my computer and waited an hour and I talked to some dumb Indian who could barely speak English|||Eating at McDonalds isn't necessary to drive a car. It it were they would have demand on their side.|||We should privatize the DMV.|||Less than a day.





The gov. hand does not belong in anything that can be handled by the private sector.|||The DMV doesn't handle titles, the county clerk's office does.
