Will a parking ticket affect my insurance or dmv record?

i parked on a street where i apparently parked during street cleaning hours. will this pop up on my insurance or dmv record? kinda trying not to have my mom know about the ticket haha.|||Most Parking Tickets include an envelope to mail in the payment. Pay it and your mom probably will never know. Parking tickets are written to the car which means the registered owner. If the ticket goes unpaid the registered owner may be notified, that their registration is being suspended. Just pay it , and forget about it. Parking tickets are not considered a "moving violation" so does NOT affect your driving record.
