How do you record driving hours as a permit holder?

I live in Florida and got my permit about 5 months ago. I heard that we have to record at least 50 hours of driving but I can't find out how the DMV wants permit learners to record the ours. Help me, please?|||You keep a log. The hours driven are signed off by the person who was with you.
